Pardon my lack of understanding of using Vice not much of gamer until latley. I have some tape and disk images. How can I use them with Vice. All I get is a loading screen with no options to choose roms.(tape/disk images).

To start a game just right click to access the menu, go to File and choose 'Autostart disk/tape image...'

Select the game and off you go!

If the game is on a d64-disk-image you can choose what file to load in the 'Image Contents'-group after you have selected the file, and if you want to just change disk (watching a demo or similiar) just select 'Attach disk image'->'Drive 8' and select the disk you want to insert.

Also, if you use vice from command line, you can give the image as an argument to X64. In a similar way, you can also configure disk & tape image filetypes.

Also, if you're using a laptop, beware that the "RMB gesture" can get the emulator stuck (although there's way to get it "unstuck" somehow by doing the same thing over and over again)
