    Hi all,

    I would like to install the following software to suit my needs, also how to make a panel with the relevant shortcuts if possible.

    The software I need is as follows;

    1. A web browser, capable of viewing Youtube in full screen.
    2. A mod player, such as Protracker
    3. A shut down/reboot shortcut icon
    4. DVD/Multimedia player [like VLC?] capable of playing various formats.

    Thanks in advance!

    Go to Ambient Settings -> Panels and add a New Panel. Then just drag&drop any programs you want into it.

    1. You already have Odyssey Web Browser in SYS:Applications/OWB/ directory, but you should update it to the latest version (use Grunch or download&unpack manually from http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/owb-morphos-1.24.lha) AND download fullscreen fix script from http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/scripts/YouTube_Fullscreen_Fix.js (copy it to SYS:Applications/OWB/Scripts/ dir and enable it from OWB's Windows->Scripts window). Then you should be able to watch yt videos in fullscreen without much cpu load. Wait until video starts playing until you click the fullscreen button on it.

    2. MPlayer can play mod files, if their extension is .mod (not starting with mod.), UADE has probably the most exact playback, but it's commandline util (there is Exciter Player GUI for it too), some older players may work too, like AmiNetRadio. Check music category in MorphOS Files.

    3. Here you are: http://jpv.wmhost.com/jpv_software/Shutdown.lha

    4. There's an old VLC port, which may play some DVDs, but MPlayer port is much more recent and better at least for any other files/formats. Use Grunch or http://fabportnawak.free.fr/mplayer/ for MPlayer.

    Cool, I didn't know that. Learning never stops I guess :-)

    Yes, ANR can do it.

    To the best of my knowledge, ANR and UADE/Exciter practically play the same mods. Only difference is that through UADE you can listen to subtracks. It was be nice if we could have a full blown solution for every mod format out there.
