    Hi,

I am completely new to MorphOS but used to tinkering and fixing various computers.
I have got hold of a PowerMac for buttons and have tried to install MorphOS via USB stick.

So I have followed the guide and put boot.img from the ppc64 folder in the root directory of the usb stick formatted to FAT32 (tried with 3 sticks, 32gb and 2gb) and also morphos.iso (renamed from morphos-3.18.iso) in the root directory.

I boot to open firmware by pressing o, f, alt and apple key
    I type boot ud:,/boot.img bi umsd0:morphos.iso

I get loading elf and then D0-QUISCE finished_

And then nothing. Frozen, can't type anything else and just sits there.

I can also access the usb stick with dir usb0/disk@1:,\ and see the contents ie boot.img and morphos.img
So tried using that - boot usb0/disk@1:,\boot.img bi umsd0:morphos.iso - same thing happens, I get loading elf, d0-QUISCE finished_ and then nothing, seems to be frozen

This machine is unsupported. The only iMac supported is the iMac G5 iSight, which is PowerMac12,1. Your PowerMac8,2 is the iMac G5 ALS.

Oh that is a shame. No chance of future support for this model?
