    Hello,
I'm trying to install Morphos 3.17 on my Efika 5200B

    Following the instructions

OK - Download morphos-3.17-hybrid.hdimg. Write the file to an USB mass storage device directly.
OK - Insert the USB device into a USB port on the Efika.
OK - Turn on your Efika.
OK - Press escape on the keyboard until you reach the Open Firmware prompt.
OK - At the Open Firmware prompt, type:
    > boot scsi:0 bootefika.img

then the system return an error

    ISO-9660 filesystem: System-ID: "LINUX" Volume-ID "CD-ROM"
    Root dir: " " flags-0x2 extent=0x1B size=0x0800
    no such file 0,bootefika.img

can you help me sort out the issue ?

    Thank you !

First of all: MorphOS_3.17-hybrid.hdimg has to be extracted to a USB-Stick - not only copied! OpenFirmware does'nt know anyhing about format of such images!
I extract it with Win32_Disk_imager (on a Wintel-PC, of course). You have to rename 3.17-hybrid.hdimg to 3.17-hybrid.img - otherwise Win32_Disk_imager won't recognice it.

After that you can boot EFIKA as you described above.
Be aware that booting from stick is slow and takes some time.....

    Hi !

Thank you for the hint !

    a) I renamed the extension to .img
    b) I flashed the .img file on the USB key (using Raspberry Pi Imager for MacOS)
    c) I could finally boot.
