    Hi,

I have a dual boot setup with OS X on my G4 DA which uses a small 64MB HFS boot partition for MOS. So far I was not able to select this boot partition with the OS X select boot drive dialog in the system preferences.
Is this somehow possible? Or do I always need to use the alt key during boot?

    Thanks,
    Alexander

You can allways set MorphOS as default in OF to avoid having to pres ALT.

    Look here

I know that I can use OF to set the boot device. But as of now, I still use OS X as main OS on this box. And now I search a quick way to boot into MOS.

Holding down option at Boot is the only way I know of doing it if you don't use the OF option.

Hold the alt key on boot. The menu will be available quicker if you set the net-boot? setting in OF to false.
