    Hi!

    I'm a MorphOS-newbie and even though I have used AmigaOS alot ever since the early nineties there are still quite alot about MorphOS I feel that I have no clue about, and information seems scattered all around the web if I can find any at all.

    Is there any MorphOS Wiki available where people can work together to collect all documentation/tips&trix and such? If there is none, how about creating one?

    @fx

    the closest thing to what you're looking for is the MOS library:

    http://library.morph.zone/

    I have seen that site, and there's some great information there, but I would like something more in-depth. Something about all the C-commands (some are missing on MOS library) that weren't in AmigaOS (and also the ones that were), more information about the shell. More information about skins and how you make them. More information about NetStack and where the settings are. And there's lots more stuff I've been looking for documentation for.

    I have been able to figure out most of the things I have been looking for, but I still think a place where almost everything about MorphOS can be found would be a really great thing.

    I've been adding shell commands documentation to http://library.morph.zone/Shell_Commands and plan to continue slowly but steady, but any help would be great too!

    Isn't about all the settings you need for NetStack in Network preferences? If you want to look manually the configuration files they are in ENVARC:sys/net/

    I don't quite get why people aren't satisfied with the MorphOS Library? What it would help to have a totally new site when we already have a working wiki with even some content? Why couldn't we just expand that? This is even easily found because it's under MorphZone's domain.

    All we need is more content, but that won't magically happen with any new page either, and I just can't see any better base to start build up than this we already have.

    Hi jPV!

    Can anyone contribute to MorphOS Library? If so I would be totally happy with that and would like to contribute some stuff as I go along. The thing I was thinking about was a more open way of adding documentation so anyone can help.

    Yes I found out about ENVARC:sys/net after some digging around since I wanted to add some things to inetd, and I think having it in ENVARC: is logical, but was not obvious to me since I expected it either to have it's own assign (as AmiTCP:) or have it in DEVS: (as Roadshow) since they are the stacks I used on my Classic Amiga.

    *edit*
    I just saw the rather big "would you like to contribute"-text at the top of the page, not really sure how I could have missed that, I just looked for an edit-button before, my bad.
