I've noticed a few threads making references to gcc distributions but not sure what is exactly what...

seems the rave these days is cross compilers...

I'd like to obtain the most offical MorphOS hosted
MorphOS targetted archives available? 2.95.3 up etc...

and any other links I might find useful ;)

    any help well appreciated!

I guess you should pay a visit to http://developer.morphosppc.com/ .
Registration is free (in both meanings of the word), and you'll have the chance to download the MOS SDK. Download all mossdk_#? files, install them following the simple and straightforward instructions and then install the updates: you'll get a complete development enviroment, MorphEd, the whole GeekGadgets MOS-native and some other bits.

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

There was a stupid comment here, but I removed it so no one would see.
