Please advise the source code MUI to understand how to associate the value of a variable with an image in the field
(to change value) and by pressing the button and changing the variable (INC/DEC).

Did you see the MUI Demo source that is included in the SDK? In MUI you generall use MUIM_Notify to link user actions and other events into triggers (methods) that do something in your application.
