Hi,

I have a BPPC 603+ with a fully equipped Mediator 1200 LT4 (Voodoo3, SB16, 100mbit, etc.) which I happily used for OS3.9 for some years now.
Unfortunately, I never got to install MOS due to the known lack of Mediator-drivers.
However, I recently managed to get hold of a cheap BVision and would like to give MOS PUP a try now.

So now to my questions:

1) Would it be possible to keep both Mediator/V3 *and* BVision in my A1200T,
a) use the Mediator only for OS3.9 (only installing P96) and
b) use the BVision only for MOS PUP in some sort of dual-boot setup - or are both cards conflicting with each other?

2) Is it possible to install MOS on a second SCSI-harddisk and use a bootmanager to select to either boot OS3.9 from the first or MOS from the second HD?

3) Any advice on which LAN-solution to best use for MOS? Since the Realtek 8139 that I have in my Mediator won't work anymore, what good alternatives are there without a G-Rex? PCMCIA-card? WLAN with Prism2?

PCMICIA cards should work without any problems with drivers
from Aminet (cnet and 3com also).

I have an old 3com lying around here, so I will use that for the networking to my router.
If just those 90 degree-PCMCIA adaptors wouldn't be so frigging expensive!

So there is only question 1) still open... Would I get any problems/conflicts in either OS3.9 or MOS PUP with both Mediator *and* BVision installed at the same time?
Of course I would only use the Mediator/Voodoo for OS3.9...
Any conflicts in memory space etc.?

If it would be to expensive (in Poland it does :) ) you can
allways put your case on a kind of scaffold, cut a slot in
down part of the case and place PCMCIA direct (without any
adaptors).

I could be wrong but isn't it more a case of if Miami or whatnot can detect so called hardware then it doesn't matter what you use to connect to the web...

I run Miami Deluxe under MOS on my 233mhz and never changed any settings used with my AriadneII network card...

funny, but I registered via this link, the email and key were sent to my main machine (this one, A4000D) and I transferred the key attachment to the A4000T and installed
it...

I use a asdl router with my A4000D my A4000T (both with AriadneII cards installed) and my modded xbox connected...

hmmm... one more hole for my 360 perhaps... heh
