Not so easy, It may or not work.
I have a very similar machine, SB128 did not work and Realtek 8139 no more. Only ESS Solo1 for sound (but not under MOS) and RTL 8029AS (not fast as it should be).
Are you sure you have a REV2 BPPC - DCE doesn't make anymore the flash upgrade operation !
And have you installed 2.2 Firmware for GREX ?? Most of REV0 doesn't work with G-REX.
Is it a "NEUE edition", or a mono DMA updated to dual DMA, or a single DMA GREX ?
Do you well see your PCI slots in the BPPC boot menu (ESC) ? You'll need at least a 200/230W PSU too.
For the difference between Bvision (permedia2v) and Voodoo3, you'll notice a little loss in 2D performance, but a nice benefits in 3D fonctions (more than with a Mediator).
    Read you soon

There only 2 Versions, 1 or 2 DMA Slots. The "Neue Edition" is an Updated Single-DMA Board. You see that on the soldered wires.

Why did you buy such cards when there are not drivers for Grex1200?

MorphOS' 8139 driver does not work on the latest BPPC+GRex1200 revisions?

@DJBase : you can also see that on the label : "neue edition", for the cards it may have it from a PC before ... and DCE had updated some "1 DMA" to "2 DMA" when the client asked for and returned it, like my 2nd Grex1200.
@Henes : Worst, with GREX1200 some RTL8139 cards doesn't allow you to go more than the BPPC menu (it's mainly rely on RTL chip revision) ! For the ones that passed this point, I should try again with new MOS Pup edition. The 68k ESS Driver make freeze MOS when it's selected in the AHI pref.

    @cls

    Maybe bad luck.
I used 3 or 4 different 8139 cards (rev C & D) with my GRex1200 over the latest years and never had such problem.

I can't speak for G-REX because I only have a CVPPC which has no 3D Support under MorphOS but Voodoo3 is normally faster at least in higher resolutions. Also to have the possibility to expand your system with network, sound and tv cards makes it worth. The G-REX 1200 has the problem that cards which needs Hardware Address Parity Support won't work.

    Hi,
just a question, how to install an ATX PSU for the GREX1200 ? I saw some people putitng a strap on the ATX chip socket...
I want to replace my 200W AT PSU by a 300 or 420W PSU ATX, because i have too much peripherals and that drawn too much...
BPPC 060/210@224/SCSI + 2 floppy drives + GREX + Voodoo3 + Ess Solo1 + RTL 8029AS + Pcmcia CFlash + Maxtor 10 Gb IDE + IBM 9Go UWScsi + Pionner DVD SCSI + Yamaha CDRW SCSI. And If I had an another drive powered by the same PSU, the system won't boot normally... :-?

Put the ATX Plug in the socket and a switch to the 2 pins. Thats all. If you want to have software shutdown and such stuff you would need the chip.

I have tried with my 400W ATX power supply in this way and it does not work. Maybe it will not work without chip?
And is it possible to buy that chip?
