Where is the beep() ?

    Hi.
    I don't get a sound from the beep function, only a pink flash in the screen-bar of Ambient. I have configured the system setting to display both audio and visual effect.
    Also, playing a sample instead of a "beep" doesn't work either but i don't mind about this.
    I'm using the standard audio output of my Amiga 1200. What am i doing wrong?

    From: Prague, The Cz...
    afaik, MorphOS supports audio only via AHI... so the normal audio output (without paula ahi device) won't probably work...
