Paula really dull audio

    im getting really dull audio on paula with the 14bit modes any suggestions its likes its not 14bit how do i check if 56khz is enabled or do I have to open a DBLSCAN screen

    There is a tool in C: called Enable56k which should be running already from the startup-sequence by default if you have the latest version of MOS PUP. I f you check AHI then you can change to 14bit stereo upto 48 khz.

    yes I can select and have 44100 on all units using hifi ++ 14bit but its reall y and the enable56kz is in startup sequence. i had same prob on CGX4 and os3.9 till I put multiscan in monitors but this has had no effect on Morphos

    You cant expect sound quality like a modern sound chip from the good old paula. So 14bit stereo++ in 48 khz is maximum and a lot better than 24 khz.

    i am getting clearer sounding audio from OS3.9 it is just a minor setting somewhere if only I new where. Was ther not a patch that was used previously to conquer this

    problem was really unrelated I had a double adapter in back of pc speakers and when pc is on it muffes amiga sound. Its working a treat
