    Hi all
had anyone yet this problem by registration

    This answear is from ChainQ

"Thank you for trying to register PowerUP MorphOS, but it seems
your PowerUP card in your Amiga has damaged and broken flash
data, so it's impossible to create a valid MorphOS key for
    your card.

Unfortunately, reflashing won't help, since the flash updates
doesn't touch the necessary flash area."

    My configuration

    Amiga1200, PC-Tower,
    Blizzard PPC 603/210-040/25,
    BVision, 64 MB FastRAM,
    3COM PCMCIA Network Adapter
    FastATA 1200 (FULL 32bit),
    MorphOS PUP, AmigaOS 3.9

    Is possible fixed this problem.

    Sorry for my bad English.

i never stop to learn something new!

Do you have that PowerUP card up&running with MOS? (i guess yes since you have tryed to register)

Do you have the ENABLE56KHZ command in "MOSSYS:C" loaded from "MOSSYS:S/Startup-Sequence" (just after IPrefs)?

It is not possible to generate MorphOS key for your BPPC because some parts of flash are damaged and it can not be fixed.
    1 + 1 = 3 with very large values of 1

Any chance you can register Falcon_11 by hand ?

    Leo.
Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

No, it's simply not possible (not manually nor automatically.. which is technically the same thing actually). We sadly can *not* create any working keys for such cards.

BlizzardPPC's flash gets damaged when you abort the flashing process. Even if you manage to reflash the card after this and it works OK, the flash area is already corrupt. This makes it impossible for us to create a key. It's as simple as that.

As far as I know, there's nobody who could help you fixing the card.

AmigaOS will work fine, even MorphOS would so (if there wasn't the key thing).

I guess that approx 5% of all cards have this problem. Maybe its related to a particual flash update which does an improper update and trashes the flash rom. Very hard to tell.. and there are not too many living cards out there to validate and test that anyway.

Best is to get a cheap Pegasos2 from somethere. Or an EFIKA as soon MorphOS is out for it (should be noticable faster than MorphOS on a PowerUP system, I think).

    Maybe.
Maybe its worth trying to downgrade to an old version, and try to register again.
Or a certain old version and then a new one.

I have the Problem with the MK3, i could use fastrom with a certain option.
When i lost the kickstart in fastmemory, i had to downgrade the cyberstorm mk3, run fastrom, and then upgrade again :)
    Well..

    @Falcon_11

    Got the same problem here

    @tokai

Looking at his signature reveals that he already owns a Pegasos 2. I own a Pegasos (1) too and theres no doubt that i'll get an Efika.
Yet running MorphOS on the Blizzards or Cyberstorms is something special, for obvious reasons.
