Autopark is not working

    Hi.
    I have configure my IDE hard drives to rest after a few minutes of idling, using the autopark value of HDInstTools. This works well in AmigaOS but not in MorphOS.
    After searching about this in this forum, i saw a reference to the idestandby patch. I tried it, but it doesn't work either. The HD never parks.
    I'm using the standard IDE interface of my Amiga 1200.
    Amiga 1200 user.

    Do you want to kill your HD? Do not use autopark.

    Well, if it's bad for my hard drive's health i won't use it. :-)

    Agreed, spinning down your HD is only worth it if it is going to be idle for a long time (days).. Or else it will just shorten its life :)
