i have bppc + bvision. I just downloaded iso, make a boot sfs partition for mos (it is dh0.2: with name MOS) and copy all from iso to partition. Next hardreboot. poweron, 2 buttons and choice in boot menu morphos partition. booting starting, somethink loading (cicle ide led talk about), and after some seconds - nothink happenes one or two seconds, and power led cicle and nothink happened after it.

    Edit:
so, it looks like startup load all what is need it for, do reset, and after it nothink happenes. hdd led do not give any live. i was try with kickstart and without , also was try 1,2 and 4 resetlevel - always result is the same: after reboot/s just a nothink.

ps. also after first reset, i just can't to go to the boot menu. It is looks like not reset, but somethink like hangapu. If i press magic combination on keyboard (do new reboot) , boot menu is works :)

Maybe someone can help a bit with it ?

the easiest way to get morpos to boot is set its partition to the highest boot priority so you will only have to go into early start-up to run AmigaOS. Other wise you have to edit the start-up of Morphos to tell it which partition to boot from after the first reset

I have 3 boot partition now. 2 with priority -1, and mos partition with priority 0. and for reset levels: 1,3,4,5,7 -
after mos load kernel (?), etc, and do reset - nothink happened. Hdd just do not read any data. For resetlevels 2 and 6 - always loop. loading, reset, agayn loading, reset. I wait 5-6 loading/reset in loop.

Also my startup for morphos looks like this:

    set kickstart "nokickstart"
    set bootdevice "bootdevice=dh0.2:"
    set resetlevel 1
    set delay 1
    cd sys:boot
    startup hal=roms/hal.com1 kernel=roms/kernel.com1 abox=roms/abox2.com1 module=roms/module.com1 resetlevel=$resetlevel remdebug verbose debug EDebugFlags="NoLogServer NoLogWindow" sumkick disableled delay=$delay extmodules=extmodules/#? $bootdevice $kickstart >NIL:

also i was try with kickstart too. The same.

my config: a1200. ppc603e x 266 without scsi, 060 x 66. All tests i do without cdrom, without fastata, without mediator. Only a bvision + ppc + hdd here.

Maybe need some settings in ppc boot menu ?

Retry without the " : " it should help.

; Bootdevice can be used to specify the MorphOS partition if you have more than one
; bootable partition and the MorphOS one doesn't have the highest boot priority. Remember
; to use partition names, not volume names! This option requires the 'bootdevice' keyword
; like in the example below:
    ; set bootdevice "bootdevice=DH1"
; Leave the var blank if you want to boot from the default boot partition!

and also why did you give a name with a dot to the partition ??
