Can someone please give some directions to do it ?

I remember that jacadcaps commented on another topic, that's just a matter of installing the original Warp3D package, and renaming some original MOS stuff.

But i don't know exactly what is this stuff that should be renamed, and if i can simply install the Warp3D package with the provided installer script.

I would like to try some games, as Freespace, Wipeout, etc.

Will these games run acceptably in my BPPC @ 240MHz with a BVision ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Marcelo.

First of all i have bad news about this. Every Warp3D game that i have tried under MorphOS misbehaves badly:
GLQuake: Crashes before it opens its screen or even the cli outouput window. BTW, is there a MOS version of it??
FreeSpace: The spaceship is completely uncontrollable. It is permanently drifting to a certain direction, no matter what you do.
WipeOut: It seems that the escape button is constantly being "pressed" after you start the game. From the intro screen to the race itself. You can see the menu window popping in and out during the whole race. Very annoying.

About the installation now: It doesn't matter how you will choose to rename the MOS Warp3D libraries. You can even delete them if you want. They are located in the mossys:libs directory i believe.
just copy the warpXXXX.libraries of your Libs directory located on your AmigaOS partition to the mossys:libs/ one. Oh, do the same for the libs:warp3D directory.

The good news is that Warp3D runs a lot faster under MOS.

    Wishmaster:

On the classics, afaik only Voodoos with G-rex are supported through the Warp3D wrapper.
For BVision and Cybervision PPC you have to go exactly the way described here.

Thanks guy s for the help.

I renamed the Warp3d.library and Warp3dPPC.library found in the mossys:libs/ directory, and copied the libraries and warp3d directory that was in my amiga os 3.9 partition over mossys:libs.

But i can't run any Warp3D aplication. Even the demos (gears for instance) doesn't run at all.

Looking at the system activity with snoopdos, there are no errors reported. But i can't see any calls to the warp3d libraries as well . . .

Do you guys know something that could help me ?

    Thanks again,
    Marcelo.

This is not related to your error but:

Do not put your own files in MOSSYS:
Put them outside, f.e. in sys:libs/ in your case.
This way you won't lost them and you won't have to reinstall everything when a system update happens and MOSSYS: content is replaced.
