Like new. Upgraded my Powerbook for MOS. How does $10 shipped in the USA sound?

    Hey Chris,

I did not know that you owned a G4 PowerBook to run MorphOS3.1 on? That is great news, but I thought you had a different MorphOS computer that you had registered. Does this mean that you will soon be, or already are a double registered MorphOS computer user?

Hope you can make it to the AmiWest Show this year. We need to confirm plans and hotel reservations soon, if you are able to make the trip this year.

Looks like the 2012 AmiWest Show is going to be more interesting this year, with more varied content.

Yes! I have two MorphOS machines. I can't afford to register the Powerbook yet though. Hopefully I can go to AmiWest also!!

    Email sent, regarding AmiWest Show.

G4 PowerBook's are great. I have used one as my main computer for everything for over a year now, probably almost 2 years, and I have not missed the advanced features of newer Flash versions and the increased power of an Intel processor.

My G4 PowerBook has been very reliable, considering how many hours of running it I have done almost every day for the past almost 2 years.

I wonder how the current Intel laptops stack up against these older PPC laptops for reliability, if they would be used as many hours every day as my G4 has been used. It is a very different concept than the masses of people who throw away, or change computers every 2 to 3 years.

Then let's look forward to G4 iBook support, considering that some people claim they "are more reliable on the long term than the aluminum g4s". Reading your praise for the G4 PowerBooks' reliability, I can hardly imagine the vast amount of reliability the G4 iBooks should provide ;-)
