    I have 5x MDD for sale.

    10p625s.jpg

    Each one is M8570 dual 1.25Ghz with 2GB RAM and Radeon 9000. No HD is included in this price. For an extra $5 I can add a small HD with MorphOS Demo pre-installed. Asking price is $105 + shipping. I am in South Florida so shipping to the east cost will be reasonable and shipping to the west coast may be brutal.

    PM me if interested.

    @redrumloa,

    I hope you have better luck selling yours than I did selling mine two years ago. I almost gave away most of them, and they were the same models, but had hard drives included, plus an Avid Meridian Audio/Video editing suite of hardware and software, including the USB hardware key and an ATTO Fibre Optic PCI card.

    If anyone wants one of those Avid Meridian Audio/Video editing hardware suites, that works best with your model of MDD PowerMac's, including the break-out boxes for multiple Audio and Video inputs and outputs, send me an email. The Avid Meridian software only runs on MacOS9, so none of these editing suites will work on the FW800 models (at least I don't think it will, unless it works in "Classic" mode).

    Sorry, I don't mean to hi-jack your thread Red. If you are interested in one of these Avid systems to install in one of your MDD's, let me know. I think the retail price for the Avid system alone, not counting the original cost of the dual 1.25GHz G4 MDD, was over $3,000.00, but I only want a small amount over the shipping cost to get rid of them. Pictures available upon request.

    If I don't sell them all here, I'll slap a small HD in them and install OSX. They seem to do OK as turnkey systems on Ebay and/or Craigslist. Parting out is also an option. Not too worried:-)

    I've already sold one and I may keep one for myself, so that may only leave 3. It really is a cheap way to try out MOS and is expandable.

    I totally agree. They are great MorphOS computers and the expandability and ability to over-clock them easily makes them even better.

    Their only drawback is their weight and amount of noise they make, but the noise problem can be lessened with a little work.

    Again, good luck, and if you do decide to keep one of them and are interested in a really cheap Avid Meridian Audio/Video editing suite for it, let me know.

    Mostly hard rock and heavy metal :-) Probably the only record I have that is rare is the compilation Metal Masacre Volume 1, which features a then unknown band called Mettallica (yes they spelled it wrong on the back of the record), with Dave Mustaine, Ron McGovney and Lloyd Grant as band members 8-) It was the first ever Metallica recording.

    Wikipedia says "Hit the Lights"

    Reds record must be from the 1st pressing as they fixed that typo on the 2nd one.

    2 down, 3 to go.

    I am leaning towards keeping one for parts, so there may only be 2 left.
