Have a nice Powermac 1GHz MDD system that I purchased for my wife and I was going to sneak MOS on there. Well the wife does not want a tower system in her art room so looking to trade for a Mac Mini that she will be willing to use.

I paid $250 for the system with power cord. I already had my own keyboard and mouse. Paid $10 to a member here for a MOS compatible 7500 video card so you will get the stock Nvidia card and this Radeon that I just acquired.

Let me know if you are interested in a trade. I am located in northern california.

You might find someone with a 1.25GHz G4 MacMini that would be willing to do a trade.

I wish you had asked for advice before buying a 1.0GHz G4 PowerMac for that amount of money though. It seems very high compared to the prices I have seen for G4 PowerMac's in the USA. Some people are getting them almost for free and most are finding them for between $50 to $100 in the same speed range that yours is.

I hope you find someone to trade with and can soon enjoy running MorphOS at your home/office/art room.

I re-read my post.... forgot to mention it came with a nice clear see thru 19" Formac LCD Monitor too at the price I paid. Like the clear Apple ADC Displays but made by Formac and has a stylish case and is DVI.

It also has a 3rd party sound card in it with multiple ins and outs. This system was used in a recording studio. Real well taken care of to.

Not sure the sound card will work with MOS but I will open it up and get info off the card to see.

I figured for $250 with the nice monitor was fair. Figured $175 for the computer and $75 for the display.

If I don't find a trade, I will just have to find a spot in my office for it if a trade does not pop up. No biggee.

But I think I got a fair deal as the monitor is slick looking.

Glad to hear you got a monitor at that price. That makes a huge difference, but still, you could have gotten it cheaper if you took your time looking.

Since I am a fellow x1000 buyer, I am not always buying the cheapest gear anyway. Hehehe. Tj
