With the recent discussion about G5 Macs, I thought it would be a good time to offer these for sale. I got them at a good price and don't want to make any money on them, as I have already purchased another G5 to run MacOSX & Ubuntu on.

    #1 - Dual 2.0GHz G5 PowerMac w/Radeon 9600 & SuperDrive (no hdd, or RAM) = $220+shipping

#2 - Dual 2.5GHz G5 PowerMac w/Radeon 9600XT & SuperDrive (no hdd, or RAM) runs, but only recognizes one of the two G5 CPU's. Both CPU's confirmed working by switching them on motherboard and having the same one on the motherboard recognized. = $195+shipping

    Location Southern California, USA

Offered to Jim via email first, but if does not reply that he wants them by this weekend, anyone else is welcome to buy them from me.

I don't think you will find better prices on G5 PowerMacs. I do have a couple 256mb or 512mb RAM sticks that I could include, but I have put all the 1gb RAM simms into my dual 2.7GHz G5 PowerMac tower, as well as the second hdd I had received from these purchases.

Edit: Do not buy these to run MorphOS on as I will not guarantee that such support will ever be released. They both run MacOSX 10.5.8 and Unbuntu 10.10 well, in addition to other PPC Linux distributions.

    Bump!

Apparently this scrolled off the main page so quickly, Jim did not see it and did not know what I was writing about in my private email to him, so I am bumping it back to the front page for Jim and others to see.

If anybody is interested, send David a PM.
I'd like to, but as I just bought an iMac (which will bring our home's computer count to five) and in the interest of domestic tranquility, I'd better not.
