    Hi all,

I'm searching any MOS capable hardware to come back on this OS.
Budget (for MB + CPU at least) : max 100/150e.

If you have anything that can be sold around this price, you're welcome.

It's a pity you're not in the US as redrumloa has a great deal on a Digital Audio Powermac that he only wants $20 for.
Come to think of it, at that price it might be worth the shipping cost to France.

I will ask him, but the weight may be a problem for shipping.

You can search for something near you in this site:
    http://www.leboncoin.fr/annonces/offres/provence_alpes_cote_d_azur/occasions/?f=a&th=1&q=mac+g4
    For example:
    This Powermac
    http://www.leboncoin.fr/informatique/182846275.htm?ca=21_s
    plus this accelerator card
    http://www.leboncoin.fr/informatique/182443849.htm?ca=21_s
and you can have a very good system to start on and stay in the range of 150 euros, though I don't know postal charge. But since those items are in France, you shouldn't spend too much ;-)

P.S. The Power G4 has 'prix à débattre'... Discount are always welcome...

Edit: Accelerator card is for Quicksilver... Sorry I've read too fast... :-) But one can ask via e-mail if this model is compatible with Graphite.
But he doesn't ship item.... =(

M5-1012Q (as seen in the listing) supports the Digital Audio and Quicksilver models.
The 1.2 GHz accelerator for AGP and Gigabit Ethernet Powermac models M5-1012G.

The 733 MNhz processor in the Graphite Powermac you pointed to should be adequate for initial use w/o resorting to an accelerator. It has an Nvidia based video card that would have to be replaced though.

    Thanks for the info Jim!
And yes, the 733 cpu works great with MorphOS. I think a Radeon 9000SE should be good enough to start and prices are not so high for that g cards.

Yes, I started with a 733Mhz processor in my Quicksilver. It was more than adequate. I replaced it with a 933 (an overclocked 733) and then a 1.8Ghz.
Your video card selection should work fine.

    Good Luck.
