Hi there I need a RAdeon 9700/9800. I do not care if it is flashed or OEM, but I am fed up with some games not liking my 9000 (like Doom 3). It isn't urgent however.

My max budget is $45 + postage
    My Macs:
    Powerbook G4 ALU 1.5GHZ 15" 1.5GB OSX.5.8
    Powermac G4 MDD 1.5GHZ OSX.5.8 MOS2.7

Want a part for a Mac? Let me know, I'll see what I can do.

Amithlon is amazing, questions and help I can provide.

I assume you want this primarily to use under OSX as the drivers for these cards under MorphOS do not support 3D yet.
I haven't tried the 9700 or 9800 under OSX, but I have used a FireGL X3 that has been re-flashed with an X600 XT bios in my 1.8 Ghz Quicksilver.
I have tried Doom3 with that configuration and its more than adequate (the game looks really cool).
You shouldn't have any trouble finding a PC 9700 or 9800 on Ebay within your price range.
Flashing one is not hard. I can relay the sites for the instructions on doing this and where the bios files can be found. Or, if you want, I'll do it for you (Virginia is pretty close to Delaware).

Yeah it is. I will probably hit you up on that at a later date (I have no PCs) so FTM I must seek out a suitable card. How much would you charge for this?

For a MorphOS user in the US/ Are you kidding? It's really easy with the 9700 and the 9800.
With the 9200 you got to move a resistor after the flash.
With the 9700/9800 you flash it, tape over pins 3 and 11 and you're ready to go.
If you can find a good buy, you can use a Priority mailer for about $5.99 to me and I'll flash it and ship it back to you for free.
