I didn't know that the 1.42GHz G4 MacMini would run MacOS9? Or are you including it with the sale because you have no other use for the MacOS9 CD/DVD?

Edit: It must be MacOS9 running from 10.3 in compatibility mode. Disregard this post.

I'm selling my 1.42 with Registered MorphOS 2.7

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250769640182

Sorry UK only, as I have to get my mum to post it, and she gets all confused when it comes to international postage on reasonably heavy items.

In fact I get confused etc etc..

It's very good, but I've got a 1.5 version so I'm simply not using it.

If you want best price .. you should really do ship international I believe. Calculating shipping costs for the European Union can't be that hard ?

Dunno which parcel services are most popular in the UK, but DHL Germany charges 16 EUR (5kg) 21 EUR (10kg) for a parcel to the EU. DHL seems not to be very popular in the UK (the offer a pick up service though) but I think a UK based parcel services will probably charge similar amounts, hence GBP 20 for EU shipment should be easily enough.

I have to comment on the Ebay post's title.

It's not an Amiga until it runs OctaMED Sound Studio without UAE. ;)

So how does the Mac Mini handle MorphOS? Do you still have to turn off the eye candy in order to free up your GFX RAM like on an eMac?

Hmm.. was there a trick to get OctaMED running?

Anyway, most Mac minis do have only 32M vmem and that limits the usage in some degree, but 1.5GHz model has 64M which is fine for the most things.

There must be. I get system lock ups before the Cu Amiga Pop Up has a chance to show it's face. Not to change the subject, but ya.

    It won't run on MorphOS.

and the 1.42GHz eMac also has 64mb VRAM, and has been recently confirmed to run MorphOS2.7, so not all eMac's that can run MorphOS are crippled with only 32mb VRAM.
