I have another great deal for a very low priced G4 PowerMac. This one is a single 1.25GHz G4 cpu PowerMac w/1.5gb RAM, & Radeon 9000Pro 64mb video card. No hard drive, keyboard, or mouse is included in the sale and the price is only $40.00 US dollars, plus buyer pays all Paypal fees (send money to me as a gift), shipping fees and any customs fees or taxes if shipped out of the USA.

Local pick up at my home, or within 100 miles from my home is preferred, but not required. Will ship anywhere at the buyers expense. It is heavy, so shipping to the UK, or EU will likely be a minimum of $140 to $160 via the U.S. Postal Service Priority International mail.

This G4 PowerMac can also be picked up in person with no shipping fees at the AmiWest 2010 Show in Sacramento, California in October, if someone else does not buy it and have it shipped to them before then.

This price is only good for the next 30 days (ends on Sept. 19th, 2010), or until MorphOS2.6 is released (which ever comes first) and then it will be increased to $60.

Pictures available by request if you send me your email address.

    Thanks for looking!

Edit: Also check my other thread for the sale of a Dual 1.25GHz G4 PowerMac system.

Magnetic: a little correction in here - you can buy PowerMac G4 but you cannot buy X1000.

And for you magnetic, it is only a afternoon's drive away and would not need to be mishandled by any postal gorillas. I would even meet you half way if you don't want to make the trip all the way up here, but you really should come and see my Amiga collection before it is only a shadow of it's former self. I plan to reduce my collection to a fraction of what it currently is before the end of the year.

I just received extra RAM that I can max this G4 out with.

As a side related note, I am looking for a Zip250 drive, mounting brackets and front bezel for my own Mirrored Drive Door G4 PowerMac, so if anyone finds any of those 3 items, please let me know.

Edit: @pampers, we can buy G4 PowerMacs, but we can't run MorphOS2.x on them yet.

Are powermac boards ATX form factor or something like that? Because it could be nice to ship just the board, and keep the case away... I have no idea how that things are inside, but it might lower the shipping costs overseas... Powermacs are quite expensive, at least in spain. Some people belive they are still worth $600... although I found some around $250-300...

Yes, all my G4 PowerMacs are the first generation Mirrored Drive Door models with only FireWire 400, not FireWire 800. Since we don't have a FireWire stack for MorphOS2.x yet, the speed of the FireWire ports really doesn't matter when running MorphOS2.x (when it is released some time in the future).

For users that do not plan to dual-boot, or triple-boot their computer, this single 1.25GHz G4 is a really nice MorphOS2.x machine. Lots of room for expansion (4 hdd bays & 3 IDE controllers), it accepts just the right amount of RAM to accommodate MorphOS2.x plus you can add 512mb extra for running MacOS9.x, or MacOSX with a full 2gb of RAM. It will boot directly into MacOS9.x instead of running it in compatibility mode, or what ever it is called, from MacOSX.

Edit: I am picking up two more Dual G4 1.25GHz PowerMacs this Friday to sell to anyone wanting to run MorphOS2.x on them when it is released.

Apple made a Single 1.25GHz G4 PowerMac MDD with firewire 800 also ?

I have found someone who claims so and that he has got one to sell but I can't find this specs on the web ( for example, here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Mac_G4 ). It seems only dual G4 1.25 Ghz has FW800...

    :-?

I don't think so. Maybe one broken CPU? ;-)

Or a swapped-out CPU module. Could have been a dual 867MHz/1GHz which someone upgraded with a single 1.25 module.

    [EDIT: Missed the FW800 bit.
If it is FW800, then these were only released with single 1GHz, dual 1.25GHz, and dual 1.42GHz.
It seems more likely that it was a single 1GHz replaced with single 1.25GHz from an earlier (FW400) MDD model. If so, the bus will be set to 133MHz also (unless re-clocked to 167MHz by the user)]

Yes, this could be the case... I will try to ask more info.

    Thanks.
