Does OS4.1 really run on the Radeon 9800? If yes - only 2D, or 3D as well?

At least the one I've got is running under OS4.1. But it's an 9800 SE and I think there's a difference to the 9800 Pro (you're probably talking about).
But the gui is slow so the current drivers obviously aren't the best match for it. Regarding the 2D and 3D difference: How can I tell ? Is there a small app allowing to demonstrate the 3D capabilities ? I don't have any games to check this.
As mentioned before: I've wanted this machine to bring back my old Amiga feeling but I never really took time for it so I'm selling it rather than let rotting the machine.

Actually, I'm talking about the R350 GPU that's on both 9800 SE and 9800 Pro. I can't imagine the Pro not being supported while the SE is. It's the same chip after all.

The 3D examples obviously aren't working (already updated the article description for ebay accordingly). But probably I'm simply not aware how to get the 3D system up and running. I've just downloaded the minigl libraries and installed it (which means copying them to the libs directory).
Unfortunately the demos aren't very communicative in case they're not working so it's hard for me to say if there's probably another component which isn't working.

Okay. So the Radeon 9800 works in 2D mode only. That's good to know because I always thought that OS4 doesn't support Radeons greater than 9250 at all, not even in 2D. Now the listing of the 9800 as OS4 compatible on IntuitionBase and ACube Website makes sense to me :-)
