    I have a Pegasos II (mb rev. 2B5) for sale. It works just fine and boots very fast in MorphOS, which is installed. CPU never overclocked and used with care.

    It has the following:

    * G4 1GHz
    * 1GB Ram
    * Radeon 9200 128MB
    * 80GB Hard Disk
    * Soundblaster sound card
    * TV PCI card
    * Registered MorphOS 3.9 installed
    * AmigaOS 4.1 FE on CD, never used, unregistered at Hyperion website

    I am asking for 520€ + shipping & package
    Payment only by PayPal as gift

    More info and photos you can find at

    Surprising lack of interest here guys.
    It would still make a pretty good OS4 machine (as our PowerMacs won't run that...yet).
    I guess there aren't too many of us interested in that OS.

    I would be. But as one can see, even 2nd hand OS4.x hardware is not that attractively priced...

    520 euros? At the current exchange rate to US dollars that is actually not bad.
    At least it would have a standard fpu (that Tabor won't) and it will run both MorphOS and OS4.1.
    Actually, I just noticed that BOTH of those are included which goes a long way toward justifying the price.

    The alternatives, a SAM460 or an X5000 would cost more (they would offer better video card support though).
    And I'm not a big fan of the Pegasos' AGP slot design, its not an complete AGP implementation and the voltage supplied to the slot is too high.

    Thank you both your messages.
    It's a great computer for anyone who wants to test or run both systems. It's performance is very good on both computers. The person who will buy it won't regret it.

    If someone wants, I could exchange the Radeon 9200 with a Radeon 9250 128MB RAM. And if he wants, he can have both, for him to choose which is better for his needs, with an extra cost.

    Still 21€ more than what it did cost new (case and other components don't really have any value)*.

    The fact that it compares very well on bank/buck to other (new) "NG" HW speaks volumes.

    * ignored the OS licences just to drive down my point a bit further ;)

    Yes and offers like these make me praise the MorphOS team every day for supporting old Apple hardware.
    Amiga/MorphOS in the state of the last good ten years is/was/will be not sustainable for dedicated hardware production (albeit bplan did a good job, but my Pegasos and Efika are rather collecting dust, while the Apple machines are used daily)..

    Anyway, for those who like to run OS4 the Pegasos II still makes a good machine...

    While it doesn't hurt to put the offer here I suggest the seller to offer it on a more OS4 centric site, too - OS4 users will embrace the offer.
