Not my ad but I think this is a cool machine that someone here probably want to own.

Note: It apparently uses an ATI Rage GFX card which have no 3D support.

    [edit] It did have sound.

    Cool thing! :-)

I have fantasized about doing this myself (perhaps with another case though)...

It's a Midi Tower case for (up to) full size ATX motherboards...

Well did the same thing with my QuickSilver and a Commodore-Gaming case some times ago (pretty much retired it when I switched to the G5).

Is it possible to put any G4 Powermac MDD mainboard into common ATX case?
    regards

Well the M in MDD stands for "mirrored" and Apple in their wisdom applied that to the mobo too.

Every ATX and all older PMac G4 have the backplane on the right and the slots on the left.

With the MDD it's the other way round, so converting a PC case to fit one would require serious metal work.

With my QS I only had to reposition the standoffs, make a ATX-backplane from cardbox and solder some pins onto the frontpanel-PCB (so I could connect the ATX's PWR and reset switches). I reused the QS's PSU after my converted ATX and 1st QS mobo was killed by some fool (guess who.... ;( )

Kronos is right, the MDD can be a bitch.
They even decided to move the AGP slot to the farthest most left slot.
