Hello, i sell a fully working and tested Sonnet encore accelerator was installed on a powermac G4 digital audio works fine (from manual) on the next powermac models.

    Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics)
    Power Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet)
    Power Mac G4 (Digital Audio)
    Power Mac G4 (QuickSilver 2001)
    Power Mac G4 (QuickSilver 2002)
    Power Mac G4 Cube*
    Macintosh Server G4
    1. "* Cube supported by SG4-C1800 only"

    This are the specs.
    Model SG4-1400-2M Speed 1.4 GHz L2 cache 256KB L3 cache 2MB

    Take into account.
I used it on morphos macosx leopard and macos 9 and works great on the trio you must do a firmware update on your mac before installation or you will encounter problems. Also on my country on summer gets hot 27C i have to use my mac door open to have enough cooling on the cpu during this season. You may have to add extra cooling to your mac depending on your setup.

    Data.
Big L2 cache run very fast on morphos great to run emulators run much faster on this module than on my powerbook G4 1.67 because of the L3 cache on the 7455 cpu.

According to the datasheet you attempted to link to, some of your information are not correct:

    1. "* Cube supported by SG4-C1800 only"

    2. The true cache specs are (also according to the datasheet):
    - L1: 64 (32+32) kiB
    - L2: 256 kiB
    - L3: 2 MiB
So it seems you generally mistake L2 for L1 and L3 for L2. It's the L3 cache which MPC744x misses and MPC745x has.

Its true i messed up, i don't copy and paste the asterisk line from the manual and wrongly addesd the L3 L2 cache.
    Corrections ready ;-)

    That is nice.
I used to have one in a Quicksilver.
It also increased my memory performance.

    Pretty cool.
