I'm all for an installer ... but not a port.
I'd prefer a "all-in-one" feeling !
(MorphUP(update manager) downloads when it finds an installscript then InMorph(installer) installs and then AppMorph(launch-bar/tool) is setup for easy access of the app)

For compatibility the Aminet-Installer is enough.
