In my opinion Flash isn't so important (as CSS, proper Java Script support etc. are). At least in sites I browse Flash is used mainly to display really annoying advertisements and unwanted popups. OK, I meat from time to time a badly written site which I'm unable to browse without Flash. But this is not so huge problem in comparison with sites requiring full HTML support, CSS etc, and these sites are in the majority.
