Sadly that version didn't make to Pianeta Amiga and veeeerly-slow version was showed there (or wasn't show if they didn't recived my email
Even more sadly, network didn't work for the whole day in the main hall... in the afternoon organizers fall back to a single 56k line connected to a laptop in the entrance, and only a few minutes before the IRC conference with the Friedens they got wireless working near the entrance. But then 5pm had already passed and most people were on their way home. So, sadly, only very little of Sputnik was shown (although it was run often, since many people were interested in it - and with a reason!).
Thank you again for all your support and for your efforts. When the Peg is connected to a network Sputnik is really enjoyable!
Kind regards,
Andrea
And i must apologize I could not be present at the show and help Andrea showing a second Pegasos machine...
This was the first Pianeta Amiga with minimum presence of Pegasos...
I was so sad for not being there, and i even not downloaded demo from Marcik because I couldn't attend my duty.
But Marcik was so kind allowing me however to download it, so I will do it, when I finish fixing my brother's PC and will have good response from VETs about one of my kitties.
BTW Andrea? I just read you were capable to link your Pegasos for some time on broadband wireless in the hall entrance?
It has been told to me that saturday it was not functioning the wifi connection...
And sunday you are not anymore present at the exhibit...
Can you tell us more about your experience?
Bill Gates "Think!", Steve Jobs: "Think different!" So... Let these guy continue blabbering thinking and enjoy computing! We are on Amiga!
