Obviously not, otherwise we are talking about a far, far away ibook/powerbook release

If you can provide anything useful, just do so, otherwise just STFU.

Thanks for clarification. I'm sure that's not only to me news.

I think that asking for clarification when confronted with mutually contradictive statements by different members of the MorphOS Team is a useful thing to do. And stating the fact that there are both open (reengineered) specs and open source drivers for Broadcom WiFi chipsets for some years (as opposed to just "by now") doesn't hurt either.

You are not in the position to tell me what to do, I bet.

I don't see what the issue is here? Some fools^h^h^h^h^h people want to open a bounty (couple of clicks for the admin) and put their money in (couple of more clicks for each fool^h^h^h^h person).
Nobody has to pick that bounty up. Nothing needs to happen. Let just open it and see how much money we can get and maybe someone will rooll up the sleeves and do it.
Let's keep it simple: Mac Mini ONLY, NO security. NO fancy GUI, just make it work. Later, it would be easier to build on that and incoproprate more I guess...

Well, I just wanted to point out that there is currently noone in the MorphOS team doing some work on WiFi. With that in mind, I don't see WiFi happen out of a sudden even if contradictive statements in the past exist.
I have no objections against a bounty, I just wanted to make clear that even if reference implementations or relevant info exists for several years, it doesn't make this task any simpler.
MorphOS is not Linux and being able to run make/configure doesn't qualify to add the whole wireless infrastructure to the system. If there will be anything provided by MorphOS team included in a future update, it won't be based on GPL code most likely, anyway, last but not least due to the closed source nature of the OS core.
I can confirm that once you get the actual driver working in open mode, adding WEP support isnt really a big deal. Adding seemless integretation into the existing network UI to enter the password, isn't either. Adding WPA/WPA2 adds a new level of complexity, though.

About fools, add me to the list, way on top: I didin't figure how easy it was to obtain a working MAC address (sniffing packets in the air), in order to pass through a MAC filter.

Thanks for the support, pal. Next time I'm about to come up with something alike, I'll remember that.
