    They do care and thats why they vote on it like they have. have you seen the stack? Is it ready? How far is 1.5? I dont know, many others dont as well. If someone wants to take the bountie they can, if the MOS team comes in and tells me its close and not worth making a bountie for it then I will take that for what its worth.

    Tatghan and I have talked about it and I think all the bounties before they go live will be talked over with the MOS team. If we get the answer "two more weeks" then I assume its fair to give someone a chance to make it for us and get paid for that.

    Damn it... Forgot to mention one nice bounty idea I had...

    Anyway...

    "RTGmaster => CGX wrapper that works on MorphOS"

    Come on, I know you would like to get Napalm, Genetic Species and others working on morphos! :-D

    (Of course there might be other problems with them too... Don't know)

    I wonder why people wish that development should be started for things which are either already there

    @BigGun

    Well, people have been whispering about MOS 1.5 TCP/IP stack for much more than a year and where is it? Maybe it's as close as the rumors say, and maybe it isn't. I think TCP/IP would be a good bounty, but there could be some rule that says if it gets bundled in MOS 1.5 release, then the bounty money could be moved over to another MOS bounty by the bounty managers. Or if donators don't like that it could be turned over to Amizilla project. In fact Amizilla could be your all-purpose bounty of second resort for collected funds if the MOS bounties don't take off for some reason or if the bounty managers get sick of it or move or something.

    On a similar thought to yours however I don't like the redundancy between Amizilla and a MorphOS browser bounty. Amizilla has a bigger bounty for the same general thing. So if MOS is going to have a browser bounty it should be more specific, like "MOS-native IBrowse" or "functioning Atlantis" or whatever the heck that old datatype-based browser was that was recovered from the dead four-year-old hard-drive, dust that off and bring it to speed, have a specific bounty for that.

    Maybe it's an option to set a bounty for Pegasos II boards wich are to be given to developers outside the MorphOS scene who are willing to port their software to our beloved machine's if they had acces to a Pegasos.

    This would be a great oppertunity to attract more software developers to the MorphOS platform.

    I agree. Good idea Toto. Maybe we can have a button for Peg2 board donations for devs. Maybe genesi can also donate boards as well like they do for linux devs... (and yes I know the upgrade offer is generous as well)

    I am all for that as well! Put it up on the bountie list! It can be the bonus test bountie while we wait for this poll to end.

    Speaking of bounties, you can now make donations to the running cost of the upcoming mail service. The system will be going live in the coming days/weeks.. We're almost ready!

    This is in the "other funds" section, and will be a continuous thing. We'll have to have another thank you page for this thing too.. ;)
