I've tested this UADE port with the AHX tune from the archive. I've got "write to $0" hit, followed by more. I've assumed first that AHX player does some tricks, but shouldn't any such tricks be sandboxed inside emulation? I've also noticed the hit stacktrace is inside uade123. I can provide a complete debuglog.

I've also noticed executables are not stripped, is it intentional?

I didn't strip them, because I'm still working on uade. A debuglog would be nice :-)

I rewrote the directory scanning using AmigaDOS functions. This should fix the wildcards, and certain exotic path names, which uade123 previously choked on (for example ///songs/#? :-D). I also started working on the ANR plugin :-)
By the way, how APB_DODIR is supposed to work? It makes MatchFirst and MatchNext enter the directories recursively, or it just makes them match the directories too?

I use this UADE (and more) based player every day, would be nice to have something as user friendly on MorphOS.

Exciter Player is terrible (Have to click to play the next song in the playlist when one ends, can't drag and drop whole drawers of songs with multiple levels of recursion etc)

A Reggae class would have been amazing. Shame it's not meant to be. :(

I'd say an UADE2 Reggae class is doable. It might even be slightly easier to do compared to the ANR plugin due to the more flexible API.
