No Kronos is correct, no official statement on this.
It has been mentioned in a couple threads that developers participated in, but until it is announced (which, knowing these guys, will be on introduction), as always, DON'T buy unsupported hardware in anticipation of future support.
Will it happen?
I'll give you my right testicle if it doesn't.

Personally, I keep an iBook around for my MorphOS fixes.
All my speculation revolves around the obvious choice for the next systems that might be supported.
However, there are other possibilities, like the G5 iMacs, that would require less work.
