Oh I LOVE the latest version of Flash, just CAN'T live without it.
    Guess what guys?
Not that you need me to tell you, you should all know this by now, we need to stop placing so much importance on the opinion of outsiders.

Flash? Oh My Fucking God, Does The Newest Version Suck!
Popup commercials guys. Yeah, they have enabled a little window on the bottom right of your screen that pops up that you have to click to close that plays you unsolicited commercial content.

    Ain't that lovely?
Just today, I said I use Flash every day.
    NOT ANY MORE.

Screw this, I am not Adobe's bitch.

I apologize for the coarse language, but on the other hand, Adobe's management can go fuck itself.

BTW - The new system is a Sun Ultra 20 workstation from a fellow eBay seller providential stuff iic.

    http://www.ebay.com/usr/providential_stuff_llc

I can't tell you how low the price was, but I can tell you I can not say enough about the quality inherent in Sun's products.

This thing is an older Socket 939 Opteron based system, but with an SATAII drive it flies.

I stooped in to see my youngest sister today and was greeted with "What's wrong with this stupid laptop? I keep getting pop-ups with sounds that overrides what I am watch".
Yep, my anime loving sister had just upgraded Flash.

Flash, you gotta love it, or else!

To be fair, the same problem can occur with HTML5... In fact, HTML5-based multimedia adverts can be even more annoying because they tend to be more difficult to block. For Flash, you can just enable "Click to play" to ensure you only run the Flash content that you want to consume.

the problem being you have to remember how to do this each time you upgrade.
Welcome to 1984 folks, where is screen watches you (and then follows you around and pesters you like an ad in a Phillip Dick book).

Why? Click to Play stays enabled after a Flash upgrade or browser upgrade.
