I can now invite interested developers to help/test/prepare products during finalization.

We developed a API which will be used in several systems and on several operating systems.
Because of this i call it "Project Synergy".

Our reference client will be available for AmigaOS (3.x, 4.x), MorphOS, AROS i386, OS X(PPC and intel), Linux PPC/i386, Windows

I found some beta testers for the client via lowendmac.com (Facebook page)
So i believe that offering MorphOS (could be just the demo iso) trough the client could bring morphOS in touch with a few more PPC Mac users.

1. It will offer apps for OS X and it will install them
2. It will allow to buy/download/try Operating systems as well. If you know Microsoft dreamspark you would see that you can "buy" Windows there as well in form of an ISO.
You can than use a extra tool to burn it to DVD or USB-stick
3. Compatibility check on OS X would be easy because of the system profiler. A BIG FAT INFO in product description can do wonders too.
4. It can resume downloads
5. An OS is not an application at all. So offering an OS digitally should be ok.
Even "if" there would be no auto checking, a compatibility list inside the description could help too.

And well.. burning an ISO on OS X is piece of cake since all necessary is already part of the OS. So even if this is needed to add value, well no problem.

Especially OS X users are used to buy incompatible Software via apple's app-store.
Apple goes further and breaks compatibility with an update. Last time with Imovie..should be fixed already.

BTW. if someone finds that our client is not enough, he could use the server-Api to try to do it better ; )
