Nicer than WebGL would be shader support in general (which would of course enable WebGL)

I just feel shaders would be more important for "native" games, rather than "whatever we could watch crawl in OWB due to slow javascript interpreter" :-)

Support for 3TB external USB Hard disk drives would be nice.

To me the most important things would be Airport support (or any kind of wireless support really), some sort of basic power management and a proper UAE port (JIT).

    > any kind of wireless support

Unless you have an iBook, Mac mini or eMac (or PowerMac G5 as its PCI(-X) slots are not supported yet):

"Driver for Atheros5000 based PCMCIA and PCI wireless network cards. "

"Atheros 5000 chipset based PCMCIA and PCI cards"
    http://www.morphos-team.net/hardware

"In order to use a wireless Internet connection, plug in a supported PCMCIA or PCI card and start the machine or reboot."
    http://www.morphos-team.net/faq

    > some sort of basic power management

...has been implemented for the G4 CPU at least:

An open source JIT for PPC UAE is in the making. As soon as that's working good enough, I'm sure it will be added to MorphOS E-UAE.

Yeah I have an old iBook and not too many long ethernet cables so it's kind of a pain in the butt.

Actually, this is not really news (while it may be to you, though):

    - Supporting the Audigy ZS 2 PCMCIA card
    - Supporting the DSP and MIDI part on the SBLive! soundcard family.

If such a support could exist like the kx driver do for Windows, it would be great!

I think QEMU would run well on a G5.
    Just saying.
    :-D

Thats the last thing on my list for Amiga.
Everything else has been fulfilled by various apps.

Every platform needs a virtual machine.
Its just part of everyday computing nowadays.

A Digital TV USB stick/card supported by MorphOS would be nice to have, as much of the Apple hardware like Powerbooks and Mac Minis just don't have a PCI slot to be able to plug in such PCI TV card hardware, so a USB solution would make far greater sense, and be more widely useable.

I'd donate to a bounty that would be setup for such a project - if it is considered it would be feasible, capable of being implemented.

QEMU wouldn't act as a VM, but more like a emulator on a G5.

That was a whole lot of things it wants to install. Have anyone tried this? I want to make sure it works before installing.

Well, I decided to try it after doing a backup. But the install file doesn't work and I have no idea of where to put everything manually. have you tried this?

It requires animation.datatype installing (into sys:classes/datatypes/) beforehand - then the installer will run.

Unfortunately it seems to not work, and just displays a blank viewer window. Notes in the animation.datatype archive state that cybergraphx code is disabled in the build of animation.datatype (not sure if there's an updated/fixed version) which could be the cause.

If you find another animation.datatype that works please let me know - I'd also like to have animated gifs working in Ambient viewer.

I vote for more packers like 7z to directly be supported by Ambient. The context menu says "Open" but when you try to open you do not see the content of the archive. Only the address bar changes the name to look as if it would go inside the archive but the lister still shows the outside list.

Ambient supports archive browsing through xad... So if a 7zip xad client is installed, 7zip navigation will work. You can try the one on aminet, for instance.
