    G5 PowerMac 2.0Ghz w/Radeon 9650 (current config)
    G4 FW800 1.25Ghz OC to 1.5Ghz w/ Radeon 8500LE (flashed PC version)

Both updated to 3.3 without snags.

I'm gettng close to retiring the FW800 in favor of the G5 for full time use. When I retire the MDD it will be for sale.

    Nice :-)

Just updated my Powerbook (using the 'manually update boot.img & reboot' method).
The only (minor) issue is that mossys:data/magicbeacon directory gets retired each update, and requires manually copying across from the newly-created backup, but I kind of expect that until (if?) magicbeacon becomes part of the MorphOS package.

Will probably get the Mac-mini updated this afternoon, but I've got a few bits of work to do first.

Remember when 'having a day off' meant you could lounge around all day doing nothing? Sigh...

The 'manually copying boot.img' thing... you're assuming that binaries in C and wherever else, didnt change, right?

More info here (including how it isn't an official or supported operation, and can easily go wrong) if you're interested. Basically, it just allows you to run iWizard from the mounted ISO to make the update to disk-based components rather than burning a CD/DVD.

Had I a blank CD/DVD to hand, I would probably have burned and updated the usual way.
