It's with great personal sorrow I must tell you that my 12" Ibook (model M6497) doesn't work with 3.3 either (it didn't work with 3.2). I select the CD in boot menu and almost immediately I get this text below (the same CD I used updated my Powerbook and G5 without any trouble):

Quark/OpenFirmware
console failed

Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe some of the developers knows something?

If I'm not completely wrong, M6497 is a G3 iBook (PowerBook4,1) which definitely isn't supported by MorphOS. "console failed" indicates that the internal MorphOS kernel console couldn't detect the graphics card which shouldn't happen for any of the supported iBook G4 models.

According to everymac.com your iBook is G3 500 (or 600) MHz model. It is not supported.

I did not even consider that! I really am stupid! I just assumed that every white Ibook was G4.

Well, that explains that ...
