Grand Theft Auto V. :) Only on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 at the moment. I should be playing as well.

    Ah!
Reference to something I'm not into.
    I get it.
    PS3/Xbox360.

The amount of details and changing of environment just keeps amazing more and more while the game advances. Don't know of the Xbox version but PS3 is pretty as a little pig and keeps good steady fps as well. Nicely done Rockstar.

Comparing the graphics of Grand Theft Auto 4 and Grand Theft Auto 5 on either the 7 years old PS3 or the 8 years old XBOX 360 illustrates nicely what great leaps are possible if developers have the time and motivation to properly optimize their software for "outdated" hardware.

MorphOS users should be able to relate to that. (Especially because the mentioned PowerPC-based game consoles are of similar age compared to the Mac systems that are supported by MorphOS.)

And not only GTA, but there has been other games too pushing the tech to the limit lately (which I honestly thought never could be achieved on puny PS3), namely "Last of us", "Tomb raider" and "Uncharted 3".

I completely agree in what both of you said, and GTA 5 is really beautiful. Hard to believe it's running on HW this old!

Another great game that really showed off on PS3 (that IMHO also was a lot of fun) was Metal Gear 4.

(Speaking of GTA5 again - don't you just love the Trevor character?)
