    You can use "Audio/Volume Gain" from MPlayer menu (activate GUI in tooltypes)

    or:

    Thanks.

    I am already using -softvol and -softvol-max options and it works fine when I am running mplyer by itself. However, in OWB the volume adjustment is controlled by the youtube script as far as I can tell and it overrides the mplayer conf file settings.

    Getvideo can be integrated in OWB Contextmenue. You can play/save Videos by choosing them with right mouse-button......
    You will find Getvideo in Aminet.

    @bash64 & AmigaHarry2

    OWB doesn't use MPlayer, by the way. I wrote OWB's mediaplayer using directly ffmpeg.

    As for the volume, it's normalized, so it's more the system main volume being too low.

    @Fab:

    I know that OWB does'nt use Mplayer - but it is easy possible to call him as 3rd-party software directly from OWB-context-menues.
    Btw.: I had sometimes same problems with youtube volume, even when system-volume was maximum (maybe the video itself is to low...). For that reason I use the way round with Mplayer.....
