    Hello All,

    While the site is not 100%, I would like to announce my website - MOS-G5

    www.mos-g5.org

    Simply put, it is a site dedicated to MorphOS on PowerPC G5 hardware.

    There's a lot of place holders on the site right now, so take some of what you see with a grain of salt, but it will be updated regularly with the latest and greatest information as it relates to G5 hardware.

    I have set up a discussion board. I did put some G4 forums on there as well.

    Check it out, register for the forum and check back regularly.

    Are you sure that creating yet another forum (while we have MorphZone) is worth the effort? What are advantages from user point of view?

    I am setting up a site that a person can go to and answer these questions:

    Which PowerMac G5 models are supported? Model Number/Part Number/whatever

    Which iMac G5 Models are supported? Model Number/Part Number/whatever

    What Video cards are supported?

    What sound cards?

    What network cards?

    What USB cards?

    What other cards??

    I got tired of trolling through message board after message board looking for this information. I have yet to find a definitiave list of ALL supported hardware for G4 and possibly G5 hardware that is in all in one place.

    I threw the forum in for the fun of it. If it get's no activity, the forum can easily be deleted.

    What is wrong with http://morphos.de/hardware ?

    All information needed is right there.

    Of course G5 is currently not listed, as it is unsupported by 3.1

    @catohagen

    The iMac info is just a place holder at the moment. It can be easily removed.

    @geit

    There is nothing wrong with that list, that's a very good list of overall compatible hardware and I am sure there will be redundancies between the two sites. This site is going to be more G5 specific when the OS finally arrives.

    I'm not trying to play "my site is better that your site" nor am I trying upset any other sites. It's solely for informational purposes. Later, the site may transform itself into something completely different relating to MorphOS. Who knows... I gotta start some where and I figured that format would be a good place to start.
