I recently got a TP WR702N nano router for my Powerbook. But in many (say 2 out of 3) cases the network fails. I suspect it's because Netstack gets set up before the router is fully ready (it's usb powered and gets reseted during boot time). May it be a cure to delay the start of netstack? How to do so?
Anyone else having issues with this nano router?

Create the file s:network-startup with the following contents

    Wait 2
    execute MOSSYS:s/network-startup

    No clue if that helps.

    I also have a wr702n router.
I mostly have problems when I do a coldstart, warmreboot usually works.
there is three different ways to solve this for me.
1: When ambient is loaded just reboot.
2: Press and hold "Alt" at boot time, when I see the boot disk I just press enter.
3: When ambient is loaded, remove usb cable and then connect it. (This one if I remember correctly only works if the problem occur after warmboot).

I usually go for number 2.

When I do a warm reboot there is often no problems.

You can easily see if the router had failed, just look at the blue led, it should flashing shortly after ambient is loaded. If it has a steady light, just reboot.

One boring thing is that it takes more than a minute before the router is ready and I can browse internet.

Thanks Dake & Geit. It seems to be fine. I was just too impatient and guessed the flashing LED would be the time the router logs in at my Wifi, but MorphOS would have done it's communication with the router already and hence missing the gateway/DNS information. But as you wrote it just takes a while. No need to delay the netstack startup.
Still impresed how cheap some devices actually are (19 EUR for the router).
