owb 1.9 deathly slow

    OWB 1.9 is very slow, locks up, wont quit.

    My system:
    Apple refurb Powerbook G4
    1.67ghz
    512mb ram
    80gb hd

    Is it the network driver?

    I have:
    Increased max connections to 16.

    Changed power settings to allow laptop to operate at full speed (found the new laptop icon in preferences)


    Do I need to downgrade?
    My quicksilver could blow this thing away.

    Somehow got directed to the wrong download folder.
    I now have 1.18 oddessy.
    Working better.
    I thought it was strange it was called orygin.

    still kinda slow.
    i saw a thread where the video driver for powerb ook was really slow.

    Hmmmmmm........
    The individual pictures are loading in very slow as well as the whole website.
    Overall network slownness on all web pages.
    Tested on other machines in home. No issues with them and the same pages.

    Also, the web pages seem to scroll rather chunkily.
    Like I said, QuickSilver is faster.
