I am unaware of the details of this, or if claims above are correct or not - But seen from a bird perspective, I think it is a shift on its way where desktop computing, to a big extent, will move to ARM, likely Cortex A57/A53 in a few years. It would be good if MorphOS was an alternative OS for ARM in 1-2 years from now. I hope for that route a lot more than X86. I believe it is better with power efficient solution for a light OS.
