Is it really happening that they are making a new BladeRunner movie?

I have seen some "worrying" screenshots...

Shivers indeed, but I'll tell you what is cool. There is a comic book company that made a graphic novel of the original book that Blade Runner was based on: Do Androids Dream Electric Sheep. And it is amazing!

They also penned a prequel to it as well which I have heard is not bad at all. There is also this little bit... ;)

One can only hope the sequel aint as BOOOOOORIIIING as the original. The first previews were a disaster and they tried to fix it into something watchable (IMO succeeded but still) and when it came out it did not get very good reviews. I don't even know why I bought directors cut dvd :)

Sci-Fi as a rule, generally is boring, that's what makes it Sci-Fi, otherwise it would be an action film. (Star Trek reboot, cough cough).
