I haven't purchased a key yet. Partially because I haven't decided where I want Morphos to live yet. I have a couple of G4 Macs available. Currently I have it on my G4-500DP which is my lowest powered G4 but Morpos 3.1 runs fine on that machine.

I understand the process of purchasing a key and transferring it if the computer dies. But what happens if you format the drive and install Morphos fresh? Do I just type in the Key Code and life goes on? Reason I ask is that in the 6 weeks I've been messing with Morphos I have installed it fresh three times.

Just keep the key at some safe place (I use gmail for example) and after new install just drop it to DEVS:

The key is a small file which is sent to you via EMail goes into sys:devs.

Just keep a copy of that file in a save place and replace whenever you do a reinstall.

With your PMac it might be a good idea to search for a better single CPU module,
even the stock one from a QuickSilver (733 to 933MHz ) would give you big boost.

I have just regestered my second machine, first is a powermac g4 quicksiver 2002 dual 1gb and now a powerbook 5,8, i am lovin MOS now.

Could you please give us your reg number and the exact date of registration so that I could add it to the graph?

Look at the first registration email reply, there will be a link you clicked on somthieng like this:

http://registrations.morphos-team.net:80/payment/XXXX(plus much more yadda yadda yadda)

Where XXXX would be the license number.
