    Great Job MOS Team.

MOS on my Powerbook with an SSD is simply incredible. The speed differential between OSX and MOS is massive. Boot time to OSX was 1.5 minutes and about 5 seconds in MOS, usage is also this good.

Sadly, MOS dies partway through bootup off the CD on my Peg II. It at the Quark/Openfirmware prompt. You can see the drive run for about 15 seconds after that prompt, then it stops and goes no further. Any ideas? Never had this happen with any upgrade before.

    Thanks!

I would bet you are not booting from CD, actually. In the sense that you haven't stopped the boot sequence with ESC and then prompted the right command at the OF (as written in the .readme), but you just plugged the CD in the drive and nooted. This way, the Peg will load the boot.img from the boot device (the HD) and then will search for a valid MorphOS partition, and will find the CD. So you will complete the startup-sequence from CD, but trying to load 3.0 with a MorphOS 2.x kernel is not going to work. This didn't happen in the past because MorphOS 2.7, for instance, boots with a 2.6 kernel.. But if my assumption is correct, you have been doing it the wrong way even before.
If I am wrong and you are actually booting from CD.. Well, I wouldn't know what is happening.. ;-)

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

Installation was a piece of cake on my PegII.
Everythings is working fine here, no problems with installing.
