What my question was about is that said feature was already planned for only after 3.0 (according to Fab's slide) when it had already been implemented (according to jacadcaps). Preponing a feature from 3.1+ to 3.0 because 3.0 takes longer than expected wouldn't explain this.
What's an explanation though is jacadcaps' statement that Fab's slide doesn't necessarily refer to DFS support per se but to a user prefs module for DFS, which of course could have been planned for a later release than DFS support.
